Margot Trout was an Associate Professor of Art at the Portland School of Art (now the Maine College of Art) from 1978 to 1988.  Her work has been shown throughout New England, including exhibitions at the Mount Holyoke College Museum of Art and the Payson Gallery at Westbrook College (now the University of New England Gallery of Art).
