Maineartcollectors.com provides an online marketplace for collectors to buy and sell fine art by artists with a connection to Maine. Most of our works are from private collections, but we also have a growing number artists who sell through us directly. We are also starting to add images and information about works that are not for sale. This will provide collectors an opportunity to see works that are not otherwise available to the public and ultimately to see the breadth and depth of an artist's work over his or her career. We welcome your contributions to this endeavor! Visit the Collectors Gallery to view these additional works. You can navigate around the website by clicking on an artist's name on the left hand side of each page and by using the various hypertext links.

Andrew and Jamie Wyeth Exhibitions
This summer there are two exhibitions of works by Andrew Wyeth (1917-2009) and Jamie Wyeth (b. 1946) which should be on your list of "things to do" in Maine. The Farnsworth Art Museum is featuring an exhibition of Jamie Wyeth's works entitled "Seven Deadly Sins." The Portland Museum of Art features an exhibit of the late Andrew Wyeth's works in "Remembering Andrew Wyeth." Both exhibtions are open through August 30, 2009.
