Robert Solotaire
Am. (1930 - 2008)  

Robert Solotaire, a Maine based artist for 35 years, recently passed away on October 3, 2008.  As can be seen from the images below, he was known for painting interesting cityscapes and industrial views.  His works are in the collections of the Farnsworth and Portland Museums of Art and images of 2 of his paintngs are included in the recently published Paintings of Maine by Carl Little.  More information.
